Tim White

Tim-White-1-e1316811026600Tim White is an award-winning broadcast television reporter and a member of the Target 12 Eyewitness News team. In 2010, he won a New England Emmy Award for investigating reporting for a series of stories on government waste in Rhode Island. In 2011, he was nominated for another Emmy for a half-hour documentary on the 1975 “Bonded Vault” mob heist, and its impact on organized crime in New England.

Before joining the Target 12 team, Mr. White served as managing editor at Boston’s CBS affiliate, WBZ-TV. Mr. White is currently executive producer and host of “Newsmakers”—a weekly current affairs program on Rhode Island news station, WPRI, and also moderates live candidate debates, like the highly-rated Rhode Island gubernatorial race of 2010.
