Sunshine Week

The New England First Amendment Coalition joins open government advocates every March to celebrate Sunshine Week. This national campaign is an initiative to promote a dialogue about the importance of transparency and freedom of information. Participants include news media, civic groups, libraries, non-profits, schools and others interested in the public’s right to know.

During Sunshine Week, NEFAC hosts public events to discuss the importance of open government and publishes columns addressing freedom of information concerns in each New England State.
