Beat Development

November 15 | 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET | Zoom

Alexa Gagosz, who covers business, homelessness and the hospitality industry for The Boston Globe, will lead this two-hour lesson on beat development. Alexa will share strategies on how to cultivate new sources and provide best practices when beginning a new beat. This workshop is open to Connecticut Public staff members and New England News Collaborative partners.
